Taking digital dentistry to the next level with IOS. This scanning device uses fluorescent lighting to illuminate the teeth and intra oral tissues for digital impression taking. Digitally scanning of a patient takes less than five minutes. No impression material used, no waiting for the putty to set, no gagging, or horrible taste. No mess.
CAD/CAM is used to improve the design and creation of dental restorations, including crowns, inlays and veneers. This makes for a much more accurate and faster solution to any dental restorations for our patients. What this means for you is that your crowns, veneers and other restorations can be fitted on the same day (Same Day Dentistry). This also means no second appointment, no temporaries, no need for more injections and generally an easier experience for our patients.
Having an onsite lab with a 3D Rapid Shape dental printer means we produce extremely accurate dental models, for all our crowns, bridges, restorations, surgical guides, and aligners. This creates an efficient workflow to give our patients a much quicker turnaround time.
Dental microscopes allow our team to get a clear, realistic view of the teeth structures and gums to take the appropriate actions. These microscopes provide 400 times more visual accuracy than the naked eye and 100 times the visual information than traditional dental loupes. This improves accuracy of tooth preparations and prevents damage to adjacent teeth and soft tissues during all kinds of dental operations and surgery.
A Cone-beam CT is a rotating X-ray machine that provides a three-dimensional view of teeth and the oral anatomy. CBCT scans are used in dental implant planning, visualization of abnormal teeth, evaluation of the jaws and face, cleft palate assessment.
DSD – Digital Smile Design involves the modification of the patients smile digitally. This helps our patients visualize their smiles beforehand by creating and presenting a digital mock-up before the treatment actually starts. It gives our patients the chance to have their say in the design of their smiles and the opportunity to see other options before committing to a treatment plan.
